Thinner
When the paint is diluted:
- The dry film thickness becomes thinner when the solvents are evaporated
- It may be necessary to apply another layer to achieve the required film thickness
Dilution of paint can:
- Give a more even surface
- Increase stretching
- Improves indentation life
