If you want to use the instrument on engines before 2006, remember the Adapter kit.
Should you use the instrument on engines from 2007 onward DO NOT use an adapter kit. However, be aware that, of engines from 30 HP and upwards in the 2010 version, running with the completely NEW LAN INSTRUMENTS.
